The Specifics
The following drugs, side effects and tests are like brothers and sisters to me. If you're looking for answers about these, I've got them. Or a blank stare. It's a toss up, really.
The Drugs I'm On or Have Been On Recently
Illegal substances not included. joooooke.
Chemo Drugs:
- Adriamycin
- Bleomycin (cancelled for 5th cycle onward)
- Vinblastine
- Dacarbazine
Anti-Nausea Drugs:
- Zofran
- Stematil (stopped after reaction)
- Maxeran
- Decadron
- Nabilone
Others:
- Benadryl (for Dacarbazine reaction and Maxeran reaction)
- Ativan (for insomnia)
- Prednisone (for bleomycin damage)
- Tylenol (for pain)
- Neupogen
- Cipro (for assumed mystery infection)
- Hydrocortisone (to prevent bleo damage. woops.)
- Something for my kidneys to prevent damage (I forget the name)
- Levaquin (for assumed mystery infection #2)
Side Effects I've had:
It's hard to tell what causes what so they're all in here together
- Nausea (generally for 3 days post-chemo)
- Hair loss (started after chemo #2)
- Headaches
- Fever
- Chills
- Neutropenia
- Mouth sores
- Fatigue
- Muscle soreness
- Insomnia
- Heartburn
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Tingling in fingertips
- Mood swings
- Increased appetite
- Decreased appetite
- Eye infection
- Restlessness
- Anxiety
- Flushing in face
- Drowsiness
- Sensitive teeth
Tests I've had done:
- Ultrasound (neck)
- Lymph node biopsy (neck)
- CT scans (neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis)
- Bone marrow biopsy (right hip)
- Gallium scan (full body)
- Blood tests
- Blood gas test
- Blood cultures
- Pulmonary function tests
- Heart test (I forget the real name)
- Chest X-rays
That's about all I can remember.
