Chemo #6
Chemo #6 was on December 28, 2001. It is now December 31st, 2001 and Rebecca is preparing my dinner as we rock out to some 2 Live Crew.
Nothing exciting with chemo #6 except that it was the half-way mark (I hope). Elizabeth and Rebecca came this time, sans parents - wow! It took about 2 and a half hours. No problems. Except when I tried to go to the bathroom but my IV pole was too tall so I couldn't make it through the bathroom door. That was pretty funny, and no one even had the decency to help me out when I claimed I couldn't fit.
So I'm happy to have reached the half-way point. Nausea was, again, pretty normal. Rebecca came to visit on Boxing Day and leaves on January 5th. So we've kept it real with some papier maché, yeah yeah. Tonight is New Years Eve and we're spending it like most 19 year olds - watching TV alone in my house and hopefully managing to stay awake until midnight.
Chemo #7 is on January 9, 2002. Three cycles down, three to go. Come on party people let me hear some noise....
