OK this is it. I went to the doctor today to get the results to the CT Scan I did at the end of January. Annnnd.....
Smooooooooooth sailin, ladies and gentlemen, smooth sailin.
There's nothing in my neck, except what's supposed to be there. There are some wee spots in my chest but those are most likely scar tissue. This scan was compared to the last scan I had done in Victoria but that was the first scan I ever had, before I had any chemo. So the doctor needs to see the scans I had at the end of chemo and in the middle of chemo to make those comparisons but assured me there's nothing to worry about. So in that case, my next scan is in a year. If there's a wee cause for concern, I'll have another scan in 6 months and take it from there.
So that is fantastic. And guess which sun decided to pop out of the rain just after that news was discovered? That's right, the sun right over top of Victoria.
Other than that, things are going swimmingly. Semester #2 has four more weeks to it. I'm going to do two summer courses and be back in the 613 for July and August. I've got papers galore to do these days.
My hair is getting curly..... arrr. I had it cut again a couple weeks ago. It's just growing like bananas. We all know how fast those grow. Woh!
So that's about it for now. Today is March 5. On March 6, 2002, I found out I was in remission. One year. That's quite the milestone, bessies.
Party. Up. In. Here.
Til the next time something exciting happens....
