Oook, I had a check-up last week or something and everything looks fine. I didn't do a CT scan this time, just a blood test. Everything is fine and dandy. I'm feeling like a million bucks these days, even though my hair is ridiculously dirty today and I have a zit on my forehead. I'm almost 22, for Christ's sake and I haven't had a zit in years. This is ridiculous. And I thought cancer was bad... at least I had good skin!!
So I have to see my oncologist again in September, and she wants me to do a chest X-Ray. Fine by me, buckos. I haven't had a chest X-ray in awhile. I like putting on the heavy vest thing. It makes me feel like I'm on a planet where gravity is a bit more of a brute. Like jupiter or something. I don't know if jupiter has more gravity or less. I'd assume less since it's farther away from the sun, but does the sun have anything to do with gravity or is that entirely the moon's jurisdiction? When I study for my Earth and Ocean Sciences exam in a couple weeks, I might have the answer. Then again, probably not, it's not exactly Earth and Ocean and the Rest of the Solar System Sciences. Oh well.
Not much else shaking, I'm about to finish 3rd year, trying to find a co-op job somewhere in the world (preferably Canada since it's cheap) aand then I've got a year of school left starting in September. Woo!
I'm going to add maybe some pictures but definitely some writing to the writing section. That research project of mine finished itself up. We're still in the process of figuring out what to do with it and how to make it work, but eh, there's all the time in the world.
So that's it. March 6th was my two-year remission anniversary. May 22 will be my 2 year end-of-chemo anniversary. Things seem entirely far away at this point. Of course I still worry but it gets less and less all the time.
So rock out, duckies, even though I really don't know if anyone reads this thing anymore. I just figure I might as well get my moneys worth.
Later duders.
